BOOK OF THE MONTH CLUB MUSIC

Formed in a studio underneath a bank in Hoboken, NJ, “BOTM” is the moniker of writing/producing duo, David Fagin (The Rosenbergs), and Dan Mcloughlin (Push Stars). It’s our mission that every song we release sound completely different than the one before it. Some may like, some may not, but, as artists, we find it beyond boring listening to a record where song 10 sounds virtually identical - in both production and performance - to song 1.

Along that line, like a book club for music, we will be releasing a new single every month, which, in the style of the long gone 45RPMs, will also contain a B-side. Occasionally, the b-side will be an acoustic/stripped down version of side-A. How cool is that?

As often as possible, each track will feature performances from various friends throughout the local - and not so local - music scene. Of course, this is all dependent on the world not being hit by a global pandemic, but what are the odds of that?

The past six months has seen the apocalypse put a dent into our plan of releasing two singles/month, but we’re slowly recovering and doing our best to start the process up again - in spite of the coming second wave, losing ninety percent of our revenue, and very nearly the studio and music school for kids.
